So I’ve read Bye Bye Pie’s blog for a few years now. She’s usually funny and always an interesting read. A couple of days ago she linked to the blog archives of the year she took off spending. I’ve been enjoying reading it. Of course I find myself wanting to comment or respond to comments that are years old, but it’s still fun. She had this list there and I thought it was interesting. Things I’ve done are bolded, with commentary, of course

33. Seen a total eclipse And in a really cool way. I worked for a company that made lenses. They set up reflectors and lenses and filters and reflected the image down a really long hallway. You could see sunspots and everything as it was slowly eclipsed.

106. Lost 100 pounds – Weighed less than a hundred pounds once.

125. Taken a canoe trip that lasted more than 2 days

127. Eaten sushi– After a bottle of sake, sushi is great
