Caterpillar Silhouette

I like this picture better than any I’ve taken for a long time. It may look alien and strange to someone else, but to me it looks just like what it is, at caterpillar in the late afternoon. Bugs in general and caterpillars in particular have been my friends since I was very young. Just ask my Mom. I was allergic to caterpillars when I was a kid. My eyes would turn red and swell up. I’d go home with reddened eyes and my mom would ask me if I’d been playing with caterpillars. I’d answer no, all evidence to the contrary.
